Managing Your Account Settings
In this article, we’ll walk you through everything you can do under Settings → Account—from updating your email preferences to changing your password.
- From your dashboard, click Settings in the left sidebar.
- The Account tab will open by default, showing your personal information and jurisdiction settings.
View Your Personal Info

Under Personal Info, you can view the email address linked to your Laiwyer account.
Set Your Preferred Jurisdiction

Under Preferred Jurisdiction, choose your default country of law from the dropdown.

Click Save to ensure all your legal research is automatically filtered to this jurisdiction.
Change Your Password
Scroll down to the Change Password section to keep your account secure:
- Enter your Current Password.
- Type in your New Password and Confirm New Password.
- Click Save to apply the change.
